Twiplomancy: Nigeria Wants to Communicate with the World Now Via Twitter

Last weekend, Nigeria as an entity like many other countries around the world adopted Twiplomancy; the use of social network and microblogging website Twitter, by heads of state, leaders of intergovernmental organizations (IGOs), and their diplomats to conduct diplomatic outreach and public diplomacy. Prior to these times, government interacted with citizens solely via radio, television and print media. Internet and technologies around it is reshaping government-citizen relationships around the world.
