FOODS SHOULD NOT JUST SERVE AS A SOURCE OF SATISFACTION AND APPEAL BUT AS A HOUSEHOLD CLEANING SUBSTANCE AND TOOL; FIND OUT WHICH AND WHAT
This article has made me realize that food works in so many ways; my natural sisters especially know how much food we have to feed our hair; and then my mayonnaise can double as a deep cpnditioner and a cleaning agent? *makes mental note to buy more mayonnaise*
BANANAS: The peel can be used to shine your shoes right before you throw it into the trash; but you know why not a regular polish or wet cloth depending on the material. It contains potassium which is great for leather.
KETCHUP: To polish things and items made of brass and copper. Apply like you would on your fries and clean or scrub with soft cloth or sponge.
COCONUT OIL: You know how coconut oil solves everything? It's why I was not surprised it made the list. Asides protecting you hair from the sun and keeping your skin in form and you know also being a healthy cooking oil; it serves as a furniture polish.
MAYONNAISE: To remove (annoying) stickers completely off surfaces, maybe not fabrics.
LIME: I love ants, scratch that I do not! You guys are a hardworking lot, but come to my house and i'd pour lime juice on you and your squad.
TEA: Don't let your African mother catch you using her tea bags to wash plates, you were warned! If you are like me that would rather do the dishes with warm or hot water, throw in a tea bag or two to help remove the grease; and make an annoying chore a little easier. (But there's dishwashers too)
