Could Lagos State be the Technology Frontier in Africa?

The Lagos State Government through the Lagos State Ministry of Education is making moves to train Lagosians to be prepared for a future that is technology driven.

The Lagos State Ministry of Education has revealed that the two major platforms with which to drive their goal for improved education in the state are Educate Lagos an integrated platform for Research, Learning, and Assessment which will be launched come March 30, 2017, and Code Lagos, an initiative aimed at making coding education framework accessible to every student in Lagos State.


Mr. Bank-Olemoh said. "As we strive towards an economy in which technology is leveraged to enhance the lives and promote the livelihoods of Lagos State residents, it is important to prepare our citizenry to meet new workforce demands, harness the benefits of technology, and communicate in the language of the future."

Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh, Special Adviser on Education threw more light on the plans of the current  Administration to improving education, during the Social Media Week 2017 event.
